Upgrades
Pro Resin Vat
The Pro Resin Vat is a significant enhancement over the standard vat, featuring ergonomic vertical handles for improved grip and ease of handling. It also includes precision-engineered pouring spouts, making it simpler and less messy to return resin to storage. The Pro Vat retains the integrated vat heater for consistent resin temperatures and is future-ready for use with our upcoming resin pump upgrade.
Pro Build Arm
The Pro Build Arm takes your printing experience to the next level with its robust all-metal design and innovative latch mechanism, offering a more secure and reliable attachment for the build plate. An upgraded leveling system simplifies plate adjustments, while the included Pro Build Plate Hanger adds ergonomic handles for easy and safe handling during post-processing.
16K LCD
Elevate your printing precision with the 16K LCD upgrade, featuring the latest monochrome LCD technology with an advanced “Yellow” polarizer. This innovation boosts light transmittance, reduces light bleed for sharper edges, and supports wavelengths as low as 385nm, enabling compatibility with professional and industrial-grade resins like those from Formlabs and Loctite. Additionally, its enhanced durability ensures a longer lifespan by minimizing heat generation from blocked light.
Theia - Camera
Theia, the dedicated camera for Athena printers, offers a high-performance imaging solution featuring a custom 8MP (4K) Sony IMX317 sensor. It captures crisp timelapse videos and live views of the printing process. Integrated LED lighting ensures clear visibility even in complete darkness, letting you monitor prints remotely and download detailed timelapse videos for analysis or sharing.
Chamber Heater
The optional chamber heater complements the included vat heater to ensure the entire printing chamber is uniformly warmed before starting a print. Ideal for users who keep their printer in colder environments, such as garages or workshops, the chamber heater maintains a stable internal temperature, safeguarding print quality regardless of external conditions.
Aegis - Air Filter System
The Aegis air filter system is designed to efficiently remove harmful VOCs from the printing chamber. It uses a custom blend of activated carbon and advanced zeolite filter media, significantly outperforming conventional systems. Equipped with dual VOC sensors, Aegis actively monitors air quality, alerts users when VOC levels are safe, and notifies when the filter media needs replacement for consistent performance.
